Fee Structure

School Funding

Christian Brothers’ College Boksburg is a registered non-profit organisation therefore it is not state subsidised. Our school fees are revised annually to ensure that parents and boys receive the best quality in education.

Important information to note:

Advance Development Levy (ADL)

  1. This is a levy charged to fund long-term infrastructure and development projects.
  2. It forms a contribution toward the school’s physical and strategic growth.
  3. The levy ensures that CBC Boksburg can maintain its high standards and continue evolving without relying solely on tuition or donations.
  4. The levy is only payable for pupils from grade 000 to grade 11 (not grade 12 as these families pay an IEB Registration Fee).
  5. The annual levy amount is R3,000.00 per child and this is payable in monthly instalments of R250.00 or in full in advance.

Aftercare

  1. Pupils from grade 000 to grade 0 do not pay aftercare fees.
  2. The cost of aftercare is not included in monthly school fees and all aftercare fee payments are due in advance.
  3. The cost of aftercare meals is in addition to the aftercare fee.
  4. One term’s notice will be required if your child will no longer be making use of aftercare.
  5. Aftercare fees are billed at R7,605.00 per annum, R2,540.00 per term or R635.00 per month, payable over 12 months.

IEB Examination Registration Fee

  1. The Matric Seven Subject IEB Examination Registration Fee is not included in the annual school fees.
  2. The cost of the IEB Registration is R9,760.00.
  3. Should a candidate offer more than the seven-subject package, there will be a charge of R1,690.00 for each subject in addition to the seven subjects.
  4. This fee is for the parents’ account and needs to be paid in two equal instalments.
  5. The first instalment of R4,880.00 is due at the end of May 202,6 and the second instalment of R4,880.00 is due before the end of August 2026.

Family Discounts

  1. Family Discounts are made available to families with more than one son at CBC Boksburg.
  2. Discounts for brothers are offered as follows;
    – One child: full fees.
    – Two children: first child full fees, 5% discount on the second child.
    – Three children: first child full fees, 5% discount on the second child and 10% discount on the third child.
  3. Family Discounts are not made available if any other form of fee discount has been granted.

General Fees

  1. An administration fee of R350.00 is payable when submitting an application for admission.
  2. If a place is offered and accepted, a once-off, non-refundable registration fee of R3,000.00 is payable to secure a place at the College.
