Senior Primary (Grade 4 - 7)
The Senior Primary School learners (Grade 4 – 7) experience an individual and personal environment where they are encouraged to develop a strong bond with their classmates. The class size of 23 – 25 boys allows the quality staff to interact with the boys on a personal level.
Lessons are based on the CAPS system, as prescribed by the GDE, and are supplemented according to the needs and interests of the learners.
Assessment is cumulative-based and two sets of exams are written in July and December. The Grade 6 and 7 learners also write external assessments to ensure they are working in accordance with the standards set in other Gauteng-based independent schools.
Academic support in English, Afrikaans and Mathematics, as well as a Homework Supervision class, are offered in the afternoons.

All boys are expected to participate in at least one sport and one cultural activity each term.
Inclusive Leadership
An inclusive leadership structure for the Grade 7 learners ensures that leadership and independence skills are nurtured within the secure environment of the school. The Leadership Structure includes portfolios in House and Class Leadership, Ethos, Terrain, Security and Media/ Communication, and the boys rotate through the portfolios during the year.
Grade 7 learners are also eligible for the unique, annual week-long CBC Leadership Exchange Programme.
